Day 1: Arrival in Delhi, Airport pick-up

Welcome upon your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative at the airport holding a welcome board with your name. You will be led to a well-equipped private car, and our driver will serve you with a comfortable drive to the hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you at leisure.

Day 2: In Delhi

After breakfast, head to Old Delhi. Visit the Raj Ghat where the father of India Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. The next stop is Jama Masjid, one of the iconic, historic and largest mosques in India. From here you will bedriven past the iconic Red Fort, the standing testimony to the magnificent power and pomp of the Mughal emperors. Then visit Chandni Chowk, a very popular and busy market in Old Delhi. A rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk will be interesting as you can observe the local life through the busy bazaar.

After this we will head to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib which is one of the prominent Sikh houses of worship. Next we will go to Humayun’s Tomb, another UNESCO world heritage site. Later we will visit Qutub Minar, touted as India’s largest Minaret and India Gate, built in memory of the Unknown Soldier. You will be driven past the Parliament House, President’s House and other Government Secretarial Buildings before going back to your hotel.

Day 3: Delhi – Jaipur  (Approx 265 Kms)

After breakfast you will be transferred from Delhi to Jaipur. Stop-over for coffee break and photo stop on your request. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4: In Jaipur

After breakfast the Jaipur journey starts from Amber Fort also known as Amber Palace, the earlier capital of Jaipur. This magnificent fort was constructed in red sand-stone and marble by Raja Man Singh and is divided into four sections each with a courtyard. You could ascend the fort by walking up the steps or in jeep (on direct payment basis). 

Later you will be taken to Maharaja City Palace, a royal palace with seven storeys as well as Jantar Mantar, the observatory. Another palace, Hawa Mahal is popular all over world for its magnificent architecture. You will be taken through business centers of Jaipur. End your tour with visit to Birla Temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Narayan), the preserver and his consort Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth and good fortune.

Day 5: Jaipur – Ranthambore Tiger Reserve (Approx 180 Kms)

Today, we will proceed to the Ranthambore National Park, which is widely known as a reserve for wild tigers. Among the 11 zones in the park, Zones 1 to 6 are the best, containing more than 70 tigers, while Zones 7 to 11 with less tigers. It is advised to book with us as early as possible, so we can arrange better zones for you with bigger chances to see the tigers. After lunch at the hotel, we will take a shared jeep safari in the afternoon to track the tigers. 

Kindly Note:

1. A jeep is shared by 6 persons, while a canter allows 20 to 25 persons. We will always arrange a jeep for you, with fewer passengers and better experience, and able to give you rides through the rough paths and to some off-road locations.

2. Every year from July 01 to September 30, the main zones in Ranthambore stay closed.

Day 6: Tiger Safari & Jungle adventure

Today you will enjoy two Gypsy jungle safaris at the Ranthambore National Park in the morning and afternoon. The driver and safari guide, very familiar with the park’s terrain and the animals’ trails, will take you to see the fierce tigers at a safe distance. 

Day 7: Drive to Agra with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri (5-6 hrs)

After breakfast, drive you to Agra. On the way, stop for a visit to the UNESCO World heritage site called Fatehpur Sikri, which was once the capital of the Mughal Empire in the 16th century. Entirely built of red sandstone and exquisitely carved, the ancient town will remind you of its past grandeur and prosperity. With your guide, you will visit the grand  the Tomb of Salim Chishti built for a Sufi saint, the five-storey Panch Mahal and the iconic entrance Buland Darwaza. Stay overnight in Agra.

Day 8: In Agra

You will enjoy the picturesque view of the Taj Mahal at sunrise. This 17th-century white marble mausoleum, commissioned by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his favorite wife, is well-known not only for its magnificent Islamic structures, but also for the moving love story behind.

You will have a special lunch at a local family, where you have an opportunity to know how local Indian live and their habit, the kids’ education, etc., the host will prepare delicious food for you.

After, head to another UNESCO World Heritage Site – the Agra Fort. Built in the 16th century, the Agra Fort used to be the residence of the Mughal royals. Standing majestically in a dazzling red color, this huge fort is an enduring witness to the vicissitudes of the Mughal Empire. Overnight at Hotel

Day 9: Agra –  Gwalior and sightseeing (2-3 hrs)

After breakfast, your driver will drive you in a private air-conditioned car to Gwalior. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and take a short rest. Your guide will lead you to visit Gwalior Fort, Man Mandir Palace, Suraj Kund, Jal Vilas Palace and Museum. We will end today’s tour at the Tomb of Ghaus Mohammad & Tansen, a 16th-century Mughal architecture where many Muslims and Hindus perform pilgrimage.

Day 10: Leave Gwalior for Orchha (2-3 hrs)

Orchha is 120km away from Gwalior and it takes about 3 hours on road. After freshening up at the hotel, your guide will take you to visit Jehangir Mahal, Raja Mahal, Rai Praveen Mahal, Chaturbhuj temple & Chattris. Your tour guide who will show you around at Orccha Ancient Town nearby, this Hidden Island remains relatively undiscovered and sleepy with ancient temples.

Day 11: Orchha – Khajuraho by road (3-4 hrs)

After breakfast, drive you to Khajuraho. Check in at the hotel and freshen up. We will proceed the visit in the afternoon. Firstly, go to the declared World Heritage Sites, Khajuraho Group of temples, the intricate work on the sculptures and the stunning architecture are beyond description, especially the incredible erotic cravings. 

Western Group of Temples in Khajuraho constitutes some of the most splendid and architecturally marvelous specimen of temple architecture in India. Followed by the visit to Chaunsat Yogini (64 tantric goddesses), built c. 875-900 CE.

Day 12: Fly to Varanasi

Today your driver will take you to the Khajuraho Airport for a flight to Varanasi. After the one hour flight, you will be greeted at the airport by our representative and escorted on a smooth car transfer to the hotel.  After a good rest in the hotel in the afternoon, your guide will pick you up in the evening and go to the Dashashwamedh Ghat by the Ganges River to watch the 1,000-year-old sacred Aarti Ceremony.

Day 13: In Varanasi

In the early morning, you will start the guided tour with a boat excursion on the Ganges River, the most sacred water in India. Hindus believe that the holy river will wash away all the sins. During the cruise you will glimpse at the two cremation ghats: Manikarnika and Harishchandra ghat, where cremations are performed continuously all day long. Next visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple with gilded tops, hence the name the Golden Temple. Afterwards, have breakfast at your hotel.

Drive to Sarnath, a holy place where Buddha first taught the Dharma. Your guide will show you the ruins, the stupa, Buddhist temple and the Sarnath Museum (Close on Friday) with their history and stories.

Day 14: Depart Varanasi –  Delhi & Departure from Delhi

Your driver will transfer you to the Varanasi airport for your flight to Delhi, where you can connect your flight to the next destination. Wish you a wonderful trip home!
