Tour Itinerary 7 Nights / 8 Days Places Covered Delhi – Agra – Jaipur – Delhi – Amritsar – Delhi
Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Upon your arrival at Delhi Airport, You will be greeted by our airport representative and transfer to the hotel. Representative will assist to furnish the check-in formalities at hotel reception. Check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.
Day 2: City Tour of Old & New Delhi
After breakfast proceed for an escorted combined City Tour of Old & New Delhi. Visiting the most famous Red Fort– the residence of Mughal emperors of India for nearly 200 years, Jama Masjid– the largest mosque of India and if time allows, quick-shop in the local markets of Chandni Chowk. Then we visit Qutub Minar– the tallest stone tower in India signifying victory, Raj Ghat– the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Jantar Mantar– the fascinating equinoctial sundial, India Gate– the central imposing pride of Delhi and the historical and intriguing Humayun’s Tomb. During the tour, drive past the Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House), Parliament House and the Government Secretariat Buildings. Get back to the hotel in evening. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.
Day3: Delhi – Agra (205 kms, approx. 4 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Agra.
On arrival, check in to your hotel , Later Proceed to visit the world’s emblem of love Taj – mahal build by Mughal emperor shah jahaan in memory of his beloved queen mumtaaz mahal (Please note that Taj Mahal reamains closed every Friday. Continue the tour with a visit to Agra Fort where Shah Jahan was deposed and restrained by his son, Aurangzeb. Stay overnight at Hotel in Agra.
Day4: Agra – Jaipur (235 kms, approx 5 hrs) Enroute Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast leave by road for the pink city Jaipur. En-route, halt at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned red sandstone Mughal town built by Emperor Akbar. Visit major city attractions like Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid and Tomb of Salim Chishti.
Further drive to Jaipur and check in at the hotel on arrival. Rest of the day at leisure , free for own activities. Stay overnight at hotel in Jaipur.
Day 5: Full Day Jaipur Sightseeing tour
After breakfast at hotel , visit Amber Fort (11 Kms from Jaipur), a marvellous Rajput architecture built by Raja Mansingh-1 in 1592. Located on a hill overlooking Maota Lake at the forefront, you can reach the top of the fort on foot, by Jeep or on elephant back. Further visit to Jaigarh Fort (3 kms further to Amer Fort) and located 400 meter higher than Amber Fort built by Sawai Jaisingh-III. Witness Jaivana here, the largest wheeled cannon ever constructed.
Then we take a Jaipur City Sightseeing tour. We drive past Hawa Mahal– the five-storey Palace of Winds with spectacular pyramidal shape and intricately carved windows. Make a stop at City Palace, an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal Art built by Maharaja Sawai Mansingh-II. We further our visit to Jantar Mantar– an accurate astronomical observatory built in 1726 AD. Later return to the hotel for a relaxed sleep. Stay overnight at Hotel in Jaipur.
Day 06: Jaipur – Delhi (250 Kms / 05 hrs)
After breakfast, proceed to Delhi. Arrive & check in at hotel. Later visit- Akshardham Temple- Akshardham’ means the divine abode of God. It is hailed as an eternal place of devotion, purity and peace. Swaminarayan Akshardham at New Delhi is a Mandir – an abode of God, a Hindu house of worship, and a spiritual and cultural campus dedicated to devotion, learning and harmony. Timeless Hindu spiritual messages, vibrant devotional traditions and ancient architecture all are echoed in its art and architecture.The mandir is a humble tribute to Bhagwan Swaminarayan (1781- 1830), the avatars, devas and great sages of Hinduism. The traditionally-styled complex was inaugurated on 6 November 2005 with the blessings of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj and through the devoted efforts of skilled artisans and volunteers. After that back to hotel rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: Delhi – Amritsar by Train
After breakfast board your train to Amritsar. On Arrival transfer to hotel for check in. Later visit.
Wagah Border- Wagah is the only road border crossing between Pakistan and India between Aritsar and Lahore cities.Wagah also termedas “Wagha” in Pakistan.The international border between India and Pakistan is located at a distance of 28 km from Amritsar.After that departure for the onward city.
Golden Temple- It is one of the most sacred pilgrimage spots for Sikhs. The temple derives its name from its fully golden dome. The templeis built over marble and is two storied high structure. Guru Ram Das, the fourth Guru of Sikhs had initially built a pool here which currently houses the Temple. It is the epicenter of Sikhism.

Day 08: Amritsar Departure
After Breakfast visit Jallianwala Bagh- In 1919, the British under the command of General Dyer fired randomly on a peaceful gathering of people in demand of freedom, resulting in hundreds of men, women and children killed on the spot. The bullet marks on the boundary walls bring alive the agonizing tale of cruelty of the British rule. After visit and check out departure for your onward destination.
